Buy around 5000 catfish seeds will cost about IDR 500,000 (or US$35). Of course, you must feed the catfish, so you have to understand the cost that you must spend for the catfish.

The catfish feed per kg costs IDR 10,000 (US$ 0.71). Multiple the cost of around 400 kg of foods so you shall spend around IDR 4 million (or US$ 285).

3. The harvest of the catfish
A cycle of catfish growth goes on around 2.5 months. So, you can get around 500 kg catfish in 2.5 months (if we had 5,000 fries before). The price of one catfish is around IDR 15,000-IDR 25,000 per kg, so you just have to multiply the price with the amount of the catfish that you harvest.
